Detailed description (English): To transform peri-urban and rural areas, Padam Mobility offers digital on-demand public transport solutions (DRT, Paratransit) that bring communities together.
• What? A smart and flexible transport solution for the general public (DRT) or specifically for people with reduced mobility (Paratransit) that adapts the supply of transport to the demand.
• How? Vehicles, booked in real time or in advance via a booking interface, replace underused or inexistent fixed bus routes. Our software uses powerful algorithms and IA to propose greener and more efficient itineraries, connected to the other means of public transportation in the territory.
• Why? To better connect and open up territories. To optimise the mobility offer and facilitate its management. To act in favour of more sustainable mobility.
Padam Mobility has deployed its smart and dynamic DRT solutions in two areas of the Lyon Metropolitan Area:
• Mi-Plaine, an important business area with 1375 companies and 20,000 employees
• Techlid, mixing business and residential areas.
Perfectly integrated into the existing network, thanks to identical pricing, two fleets of vehicles, which will eventually be fuelled by NGV, serve the two territories to complement the TCL’s offer with complete flexibility. Since the Covid-19 crisis, the service has been adapted to meet new health requirements.
Detailed description (original language): Padam Mobility développe des solutions digitales de transport public à la demande dynamiques (TàD et TPMR) pour transformer les territoires, et rapprocher les communautés.
• Quoi ? Une solution flexible de transport grand public (TàD) ou spécifique aux Personnes à Mobilité Réduite (TPMR) qui adapte l'offre à la demande.
• Comment ? Des véhicules, réservés en temps réel ou à l’avance via une interface de réservation, se substituent à des lignes fixes de bus sous-utilisées ou inexistantes. Notre logiciel repose sur des algorithmes puissants et l'intelligence artificielle qui permettent des itinéraires plus verts et plus efficaces, connectés aux autres transports publics.
• Pourquoi ? Mieux connecter et désenclaver les territoires. Optimiser l’offre de mobilité et faciliter son exploitation. Agir en faveur d'une mobilité plus durable.
Padam Mobility a déployé ses solutions de TàD dynamique et intelligent sur deux territoires de l’agglomération lyonnaise :

• Techlid, mêlant zone d’activité et résidentielle
Parfaitement intégrés au réseau existant, grâce à une tarification identique, deux flottes de véhicules, alimentés à terme au GNV, sillonnent les deux territoires pour compléter l’offre de la TCL en toute flexibilité. Depuis la crise du Covid-19, le service est adapté pour répondre aux nouvelles exigences sanitaires.
Target group(s): The public transport authority of Lyon uses our software solution for the management of their DRT service. With this service, inhabitants of the Lyon metropolis, in particular in suburban and rural areas have access to a public transportation adapted to their needs, and access to other means of transportation existing on the territory.
Objectives: The goal of the TCL Demand-Responsive Transport networks is to provide concrete mobility solutions for the less densely populated areas of the Lyon conurbation: transport of the working population during peak hours, first and last mile services to/from the existing network, internal services to isolated areas or areas that are particularly difficult to cover by conventional modes.
