Detailed description (English): Based on the needs of the community, FlexyMob aggregates shared mobility solutions (trains, buses, car-sharing, carpooling and bike/scooter sharing, etc.) allowing the optimization of travel through the booking or rental of the transport service. All in one app and with a single payment system. To reach a place, go to an event or simply to go to work in the shortest possible time, the user will not have to consult the individual apps of the companies every time, but will have all the mobility services available, integrated with each other in several combinations. Putting communities at the centre of the project is fundamental, as starting from the analysis of their needs, a personalized and tailor-made mobility proposal is built. The solutions developed are in fact completely customizable and made available in several combinations.
The web app, intended not only for large metropolitan areas but also for territories poorly served by local public transport, thanks to its versatility and the high level of customization of the same, will allow to export the MAAC - MOBILITY AS A COMMUNITY model to all cities and countries that need an integrated mobility solution.
FlexyMob represents a new reference model for the future of mobility. It aims at a shared and sustainable mobility that encourages people to abandon old habits in favour of a new innovative way of moving, for the benefit of citizens, and more respectful towards the planet.
Detailed description (original language): In base alle esigenze della comunità, FlexyMob aggrega soluzioni di mobilità condivisa (treni, bus, car-sharing, carpooling e bike/scooter sharing, etc.) permettendo l'ottimizzazione degli spostamenti attraverso la prenotazione o il noleggio del servizio di trasporto. Tutto in un’unica app e con un unico sistema di pagamento. Per raggiungere un luogo, andare ad un evento o semplicemente per recarsi al lavoro nel minor tempo possibile, l'utente non dovrà consultare ogni volta le singole app delle aziende, ma avrà a disposizione tutti i servizi di mobilità, integrati tra loro in più combinazioni. Mettere le comunità al centro del progetto è fondamentale, poichè partendo dall'analisi delle loro esigenze, si costruisce una proposta di mobility personalizzata e su misura. Le soluzioni sviluppate sono infatti completamente personalizzabili e rese disponibili in più combinazioni.
La webapp, destinata non solo alle grandi aree metropolitane ma anche ai territori scarsamente serviti dai mezzi pubblici locali, grazie alla sua versalità e all'alto livello di personalizzazione della stessa, permetterà di esportare il modello di MAAC - MOBILITY AS A COMMUNITY in tutte le città e nei Paesi che necessitano di una soluzione di mobilità integrata.
FlexyMob rappresenta un nuovo modello di riferimento per il futuro della mobilità. Punta ad una mobilità condivisa e sostenibile che incoraggi le persone ad abbandonare le vecchie abitudini a favore di un nuovo modo innovativo di muoversi, a vantaggio dei cittadini, e più rispettoso nei confronti del pianeta.
Target group(s): FlexyMob is based on a B2B2C business model, involving three areas of expertise:
1. Commuting: the combination of integrated mobility services present in the platform is aimed above all at workers who live in this area, poorly served by public transport. They will be able to book the electric car sharing service or share in carpooling an electric vehicle to reach the company or workplace that is located in a larger urban center. Busforfun (B1) can set up the platform based on the requests of the company (B2) that makes available to its employee different modes of transport and innovative sustainable mobility services (such as trains, buses, car-sharing, pooling operated in the valley) and or company shuttles available to its employees (C).
2. Events / Places: the mobility service offered is built on the basis of the indications provided by the organizer of events, fairs, concerts, etc. (B2). The end users (C), to go to that particular event can book, purchase or use different modes of transport and mobility services (i.e train, bus, carsharing,car pooling bikesharing) free of charge, depending on the indications of the enabling body.
3. Leisure: the company (B1), uses the platform for the sale of packages, holidays and experiences, offering the end user (C) the right service to satisfy their passions in their free time integrated with different modes of transport.
Objectives: Flexymob, the innovative platform, has been designed to aggregate multiple green mobility services, including train, metro, commuting, taxi, car pooling, car sharing, micro electric mobility, bike box, etc., which meet the highest environmental standards and end users, in a single app and with a single payment system. People who want to move from A to B will not have to download the app of each individual service provider, but will be able to plan the trip (or move), book, rent and pay for the services within a single digital channel. This allows FlexyMob to offer all users complete integrated mobility solutions, eliminating or reducing the difficulty and inconvenience of finding the best solution for each category of user, saving time, stress and energy.
The implementation of the MAAC - Mobility as a Community concept creates a new reference model for the future of mobility in Europe. The project can support the development and growth of new startups involved in green mobility able to offer new and innovative mobility services.
Finally, with a view to sustainable development, an algorithm has been developed that allows to define the ecological footprint through the carbon footprint. The aim is to check how many kg of CO2 could be saved, if a percentage of employees had gone to work by bus or other alternative means rather than by private transport. Moving to a place by combining alternative means is an important change from an ecological point of view. It means being more responsible towards the environment, contributing to the sustainability of transport, reducing costs and improving the quality of life.
