Target group(s): children, parents, teachers, drivers
Objectives: The aim was to improve safety in front of the school, as well as to raise awareness of transport habits related to getting children to school.
The idea was to address the risks to children's health associated with road safety, air pollution, lack of physical activity, impaired perception and orientation, and the formation of child-unfriendly spaces around schools.
Providing children with safer conditions on their way to and from school, so that they can cover this distance on foot or by bicycle, translates not only into traffic and the environment, but above all improves the health, well-being and development of children by increasing their independence, experiences, opportunities for meetings and other activities.
