Detailed description (English): As a leading operator of electric scooters, Bolt sees a key role in promoting micromobility solutions as part of an urban lifestyle. For years, we have encouraged our users to use more sustainable forms of shared transport and present alternatives to private car ownership.
Bolt is taking part in European Mobility Week to drive behavioural change in Polish cities. We are challenging our users to ditch their cars in favour of carbon-neutral electric scooters. We will reward the person who completes the most kilometres on a scooter during EU Mobility Week, while also educating our online community about the volumes of CO2 produced by their daily routines. In a high-reach online campaign, we will use graphic representations to visualise something very non-tangible (gas).
Bolt is also organizing a series of events as part of European Mobility Week. We will support local authorities with scooter workshops to educate participants about the principles of safe driving and correct parking. Participants will have the opportunity to try out scooters for free and practice responsible behaviours under the watchful eye of mobility experts.
In addition, we will further promote Sustainable Transport with gamified events in selected Polish cities. Adult participants will complete tasks in a real-life obstacle course to confirm their knowledge of safe driving and correct parking of scooters. Those city game events will combine usage of both public transport and electric scooters within one route, thus showing a broad view of micromobility issues.
