Detailed description (English): In this "beginner cycling classes", it doesn't matter if you are 4, 20, 70 or 80 years old. What matters is that someone who doesn't know how to ride a bicycle wants to learn.
Braga Ciclável is, once again, helping these children and adults learn to ride a bicycle.
This event, organized in partnership with the Junta de Freguesia de São Victor (Parish Council of São Victor), and resulting from a winning application to the Environmental Fund of Portugal in 2019, has been a success every month. In the month of September this is our European Mobility Week action.
After learning to pedal, all that is missing is good infrastructure in the city, so that people can use the bicycle on a daily basis, thus making better connections and daily trips.
The event takes place once a month, on a Saturday morning, in Praça da Justiça.
Detailed description (original language): Nas aulas de iniciação à bicicleta não importa se se tem 4, 20, 70 ou 80 anos. O que importa é que alguém que não saiba andar de bicicleta, queira aprender. E a Braga Ciclável está, mais uma vez, a ajudar essas crianças e adultos a aprender a andar de bicicleta.
Este evento, organizado em parceria com a Junta de Freguesia de São Victor, e resultante de uma candidatura vencedora ao Fundo Ambiental de Portugal em 2019, tem sido um sucesso todos os meses. No mês de Setembro é a nossa ação da Semana Europeia da Mobilidade.
Depois de ficarem a saber pedalar, só faltam mesmo as boas infraestruturas na cidade, para que as pessoas utilizem a bicicleta no dia a dia, fazendo assim melhores conexões e deslocações diárias.
O evento realiza-se uma vez por mês, num sábado de manhã, na Praça da Justiça.
Target group(s): All the people who do not know how to ride a bicycle.
Objectives: Increase the number of people who know how to ride a bicycle.
Help people who don't know how to ride a bicycle to be able to do so.
