Detailed description (English): In the last 4 years, we have traveled the country with PréPOP (Pré-School Pedaling Operation Program, for Future Cities) which allowed us to get to know the reality of Portuguese schools. PréPOP, an innovative concept based on the theme of sustainable mobility, and with the bicycle always as the connecting link, based on some guidelines and good practices related to the environment, recycling and the reuse of waste, clean energy, citizenship active and circular economy, children, age from 3 to 6, were encouraged to build a city of the future, based on their imagination, and based on a "make-believe" tool. All this created context was adapted to the classroom or outdoor space, where children could ride a bicycle more freely, so there is no limitation for the practice of activities, in addition to not being hostage to the weather conditions, whether in a school, inland or in a large urban centre. Cities were built from cardboard boxes, transforming them into objects, buildings or services that each school chose as necessary for its city of the future, all at the size of the small residents, in order to play their roles in the city, playing. reinforcing the urgent need to teach the new generations, creating original ways for them to learn to live together and share non-polluting means of transportation, to intervene in the construction of their city of the future, and making them better citizens with a commitment to active citizenship. Reuse and recycling are already integrated elements in the school program and of course in PréPOP.
