Detailed description (English): During the month of october the employees will fill in a journal of how they commute to work. We have made a broschure with the arguments of why they should join the campain and what they might get out of it and hopefully win. The head board is behind the initiative and encourage their employees to join. When the month is ended the employees send in their journals and if whey commute more than half of the working days by foot, bike or public transports they take part in a competition and have a chance to win nice prices (for example bus cards, bike helmets and bike services).
Target group(s): Our own employees in the municipality
Objectives: A campain during the month of october to encourage the employees to start new habits, that are more friendly to the environment and more healthy for the employees. For exampel taking the bike or bus to work in stead of travelling by car. Another objective is to make our employees aware that 80 % of the CO2-emissions come from commuting to work, not the travels we make during work. If more than half of the travels are made by walking, bike or public transfers they can also win nice prices.
Expected Outcomes: Hope to engage at least 150 employees to take part in the campain. Hopefully the new habits will remain even after the campain is ended. 50 persons will win nice prices and hopefully spread their positive experiences to their collegues.
