Detailed description (English): Micro mobility vehicles, which provide solutions to traffic congestion, one of the most critical problems of big cities, and provide freedom of movement for short distances, have entered our lives rapidly and become widespread. Micro mobility vehicles, which are preferred by people from all strata, especially among young people, have become an alternative mode of transportation in a short time with their easy-to-use features. Modern micro-mobility systems such as electric bicycles and their derivatives (e-scooters) have become an element that increases the quality of life while changing the face of transportation in the cities.
The purpose of this project is;
* To give direction to the future of modern micro transport systems that add freedom and movement to city life.
* To conduct research and development for service receivers and providers in terms of safety, efficiency, environmental awareness, user comfort.
* To carry out technical and engineering studies to ensure the benefits provided by this system and make the necessary arrangements.
The scope of the studies in Reseach Center
* By following the developments in the field of micro-mobility in the world to determine the technologies needed, to transfer these technologies to our country with the appropriate method, to adapt them to national conditions and technologies and to carry out the necessary studies to start production.
* To conduct research and development in order to increase domestic and national design and production possibilities for micro-mobility systems such as electric bicycles, electric scooters, etc.
* To investigate the positive and negative environmental effects of micro-mobility practices.
* To make necessary technical analysis and to produce data to create regulations on the subject.
* To conduct necessary network design, location selection, economic analysis and feasibility studies to increase the efficiency level of micro-mobility.
* To collect the necessary data to increase the benefit to be obtained from the micro-mobility system and performing analysis and processing studies with artificial intelligence applications.
* To conduct modeling studies for the integration of micro-mobility to public transportation
* To research and model the use of micro-mobility for logistical purposes.
* To plan the shared micro-mobility system and developing the necessary digital infrastructure.
* To adapt micro-mobility to smart transport systems.
