Detailed description (English): It’s said that we are defined not so much by what we say as by what we do. Words can often be empty if they are not matched by deeds. And that is why we wanted to go a step further and provide bicycles to employees located in our offices in Palma de Mallorca.
In addition to the bicycle parking facilities and showers that we have set up in our workplace, from May 1 we will offer a service whereby any employee can request a bicycle for free to commute to work.
At Mobility by Cycling Friendly, we join the “bicycle effect” proposed by MITMA in its recent campaign to promote cycling to work. We believe it is important to do our bit to promote more sustainable mobility, not only with the companies and institutions we work with, but also leading by example. An even more essential requirement considering that with the future Sustainable Mobility Law, some companies will be required to have a Sustainable Transportation to Work Plan.
Mobility by Cycling Friendly encourages companies to take the initiative and provide cycling mobility solutions to their employees.
Detailed description (original language): Dicen que nos define no tanto lo que decimos sino más bien lo que hacemos. Las palabras pueden ser en muchas ocasiones vacías si no se acompañan con hechos. Y por ese motivo hemos querido ir un paso más allá y facilitar bicicletas a los empleados ubicados en nuestras oficinas de Palma de Mallorca.
Para ello, además de los parkings de bicicletas y las duchas que tenemos habilitadas en nuestro centro de trabajo, a partir del próximo 1 de mayo ofreceremos un servicio por el que cualquier trabajador podrá solicitar una bicicleta con la que poder acudir al trabajo sin coste alguno.
Para poder facilitar las bicicletas, los trabajadores tan solo tendrán que realizar una sencilla solicitud vía motor de reservas, escogiendo la fecha para disponer de ellas. La flota de bicicletas disponibles se irá adaptando en función de las peticiones de los trabajadores.
Para atender las necesidades de los que deben recorrer mayores distancias para acudir al centro de trabajo, habrá disponibilidad de bicicletas eléctricas ideales para este fin.
