Detailed description (English): It has an approximate distance of 15 km. We travel the bike path along the river to the Historical Round. Upon reaching the Basilica de la Macarena we will enter Don Fadrique Street, where the thematic part of the route begins.
The first stop will be made in the Andalusian Parliament, which hides a legend about a ghost named Sister Úrsula.
Then we will stop at the Venta de los Gatos, which began operating in the 18th century and was visited and narrated by Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer.
The next interesting point on the route is the San Lázaro hospital, which has been in operation since the 13th century and whose function was to welcome lepers
Then we will visit the Monastery of San Jerónimo, founded more than 600 years ago and that has featured works by sculptors and outstanding painters.
The last stop on the thematic route is the Cemetery of the English that has a fascinating history that you will discover on our route.
Here we begin our return, circulating around the Alamillo park, Macarena hospital, Carmona road, historical round, Recaredo and ending at Puerta de Jerez.
Detailed description (original language): Tiene una distancia aproximada de 15 km. Recorrimos el carril bici junto al río hasta la Ronda Histórica. Al llegar a la Basílica de la Macarena entraremos en la calle Don Fadrique, donde se inicia la parte temática de la ruta.
La primera parada la realizaremos en el Parlamento Andaluz, que esconde una leyenda sobre un fantasma llamado Sor Úrsula.
A continuación pararemos en la Venta de los Gatos que empezó a funcionar en el siglo XVIII y que fue visitada y narrada por Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer.
El siguiente punto interesante de la ruta es el hospital de San Lázaro, en funcionamiento desde el siglo XIII y en cuyo inicio su función era acoger a los leprosos
Después visitaremos el Monasterio de San Jerónimo, fundado hace más de 600 años y que ha contado con obras de escultores y pintores destacables.
La última parada de la ruta temática es el Cementerio de los ingleses que tiene una fascinante historia que descubrirás en nuestra ruta.
Aquí iniciamos nuestro regreso, circulando a la vuelta por el parque del Alamillo, hospital Macarena, carretera Carmona, ronda histórica, Recaredo y terminando en Puerta de Jerez.

Objectives: With the intention of showing society and citizens the multiple advantages of using personal electric vehicles in transport (PLEV) and Leisure time, we organized a route that mixes a pleasant walk through nature with guided visits by experts in history to important and known locations.
