Detailed description (English): Students and school staff are asked to walk, cycle or use public transport to get to school and go back home.
Cars are banned from the school area, which is used by PE teachers for outdoor sports activities. Only public buses and vehicles transporting disabled people have access to the school area. Those who live in remote areas and need a vehicle to come to school opt for car-sharing.
A group of students and school staff block access at the entrance gate, so that cars cannot enter the school area.
Some classes take part in short walks to discover the local historic, artistic and cultural heritage of the town.
Detailed description (original language): Gli studenti e il personale sono invitati a recarsi a scuola e tornare a casa a piedi, in bicicletta o con un mezzo di trasporto pubblico.
E' interdetto l'ingresso dei motoveicoli all'area scolastica, che è utilizzata dai docenti di educazione fisica per le attività sportive. L'area è accessibile solo agli autobus di linea e ai veicoli per il trasporto di persone disabili. Coloro che possono raggiungere la scuola solo in auto, optano per la modalità del car-sharing.
Un gruppo di studenti e personale della scuola presidia il cancello d'ingresso per bloccare l'accesso dei motoveicoli.
Alcune classi partecipano a brevi passeggiate ecologiche alla scoperta del patrimonio storico, artistico e culturale della città.

Expected Outcomes: - Students and school staff will leave their cars at home. The civic action will repeated in the following years so that, on a long-term basis, everybody will gradually get used to cycling and walking to school every day.
- The action will set an example for the whole local community.
