Detailed description (English): Students from the eco-club "Ambassadors of Nature" at Kiril Hristov Primary School, led by Ekaterina Yovcheva and Veneta Kirkovska, took part in the celebration of the European Mobility Week, which takes place from 16 to 22 September 2021. On September 20 in the park " Green Wedge ”graduates of the two initiative teachers took part in a thematic talk and participated in a cognitive quiz, organized jointly with representatives of RIEW - Stara Zagora. The students then visited the site and looked with interest at the laboratory that measures the purity of city air.The young ecologists were encouraged for their ecological thinking and curiosity by receiving gifts from the RIEW - Stara Zagora.
During the Mobility Week, the students from the eco-club "Ambassadors of Nature" decided to actively use environmentally friendly means of transportation such as scooters, bicycles, rollerblades and others. The idea of the students of Ms. Yovcheva and Ms. Kirkovska is in line with the goal of the European Mobility Week - to improve public health and quality of life by promoting mobility with means that do not pollute the environment.In this regard, children find a variety of practical solutions for mobility in urban areas to draw attention to the environmental problems of cities worldwide, including air pollution.European Mobility Week is an annual initiative of the European Commission to raise awareness of sustainable urban mobility. This year has its 20th anniversary edition, ending on September 22 with the traditional Car Free Day.
Detailed description (original language): Млади еколози от ОУ „Кирил Христов“ отбелязаха Европейската седмица на мобилността
Ученици от екоклуб „Посланици на природата“ при ОУ „Кирил Христов“, с ръководители Екатерина Йовчева и Венета Кирковска, се включиха в отбелязването на Европейската седмица на мобилността, която се провежда от 16 до 22 септември 2021 г. На 20 септември в парк „Зеления клин“ възпитаници на двете инициативни учителки взеха участие в тематична беседа и се включиха в познавателна викторина, организирани съвместно с представители на РИОСВ – Стара Загора. След това учениците посетиха на място и разгледаха с интерес лабораторията, която измерва чистотата на градския въздух. За своето екологично мислене и проявената любознателност младите еколози бяха поощрени, като получиха подаръци от РИОСВ - Стара Загора.
В рамките на Седмицата на мобилността учениците от екоклуб „Посланици на природата“ решиха да използват активно екологосъобразни средства за придвижване като тротинетки, велосипеди, ролери и други. Идеята на учениците на г-жа Йовчева и г-жа Кирковска е в съответствие с целта на Европейската седмица на мобилността - да се подобрят публичното здраве и качеството на живот, като се популяризира придвижването със средства, които не замърсяват околната среда. В тази връзка децата намират разнообразни практични решения за мобилност в населените места, с които да насочат вниманието към екологичните проблеми на градовете в световен план, сред които е и замърсяването на въздуха.
