Detailed description (English): During the European Mobility Week 2022, many Airbus sites worldwide will participate in different initiatives in order to raise awareness about a more sustainable mobility and in particular try to impulse a change in our commuting habits. With more than 125 000 direct employees in 180 worldwide locations, Airbus wants to participate even beyond European borders. Our sites in China, USA, Philippines, France, Germany and others...will gather around the Airbus Ecomobility Day on September 22nd 2022.
Depending on the local constraints, possibilities and support, the actions may vary from simple communication and awareness on the topic to a wide range of on site animations, challenges and activities:
- use a carbon reduced mode of transportation and raise money for a local non-profit organization
- visit some mobility companies' booth during lunch time
- try to win a prize by cycling to work as much as possible...
Those actions will be surrounded by a message reinforcing safety rules.
The focus is on getting information, sharing experiences, daring to try something different and maybe make it a regular change.
