Target group(s): Passers-by, people working in the area, collaborators, and followers of CEA
Objectives: This temporary parklet aims to raise awareness on the amount of space that is dedicated to car mobility (and immobility in the case of parking) in our city. By reclaiming the space for a few hours we provide a concrete example of how the space could be used for a broader benefit of the citizens and it allows to trigger the passers-by with some questions on who has the right to the street, what is the optimal way to use this stretch of public space etc. The Cyprus Energy Agency also aims to engage with the local community, to exchange and better understand the needs and to inform the public on the work and vision of the organisation.
