Detailed description (English): The aim of the project is to raise awareness about “Sustainable Mobility” to both the staff and the people of Sincan, where the Sincan District Health Directorate is located.
The staff of the directorate are the participants of the project. For this reason, it is necessary to analyze the staff to sustainable mobility activities in order to get the desired result from the project.
For this, some encouraging practices were determined by Sincan District Health Director Dr. Mehmet Celal Almaz for the related and volunteer staff.
In addition, within the scope of the project, seminars on "Importance of Sustainable Environment" will be given by Environmental Engineer Selcen Yalçın and seminars on "Act for Health" by Physiotherapist Murat Ögüç will be given to the personnel of the organization.
In the related seminars, "European Mobility Week" and the project will be mentioned to raise awareness about sustainable mobility.
Seminars will be held consecutively at the beginning of September. At the end of the seminars, staff will be advised not to use the corporate elevators during September, and to use their bicycles, walk or use public transportation instead of their cars while commuting to work. Personnel are expected to distribute brochures on "Importance of Healthy Movement" to at least 15 people they meet on the way while commuting. Personnel participating in this ecological activity will be given “one day administrative leave” at the end of September in order to encourage employees to take sustainable action.
Target group(s): • Although the project activity is going to be carried out with the personnel of the Sincan District Health Directorate, the project results and project activities is going to be shared on social media accounts. Everyone who aware of the shared information is among the target audience.
• People who brochures about the importance of sustainable mobility are distributed to, namely the personnel of the Sincan District Health Directorate, will be in direct contact. These people are among the target audience.
Objectives: • The primary goal is to raise awareness of Sustainable Mobility among the personnel of the Sincan District Health Directorate.
• Organizational culture is “the system of norms, behaviors, values, beliefs and habits that guide the behavior of people within an organization”.
• It is known that organizational culture consists of employees' unique values and norms in the organizational environment. The development of organizational culture is the natural result of the collective life of the employees (Dinçer, 1992; Başaran, 1991). In this context; In the related project, it is aimed that there will be a change in the attitude of the personnel of the oranization regarding the sustainable mobility and that the concept of "sustainable movement" will create a orgnizational culture.
• It is aimed for the personnel of the organization to acquire sustainable environmentally sensitive behaviors in their lives outside the organization.
• To raise awareness in society about Sustainable Mobility as a public training topic.
