Detailed description (English): Sadales tīkls AS campaign Join the Virtual Sports Club! was launched on 13 May 2019. The campaign ran for one month. During the month, the Virtual Sports Club gathered together 102 participants who still use the Strava app and travel a total of about 900 km each week by cycling, walking, running, swimming, etc. Using the free Strava app, members of the Virtual Sports Club can identify the most active sports enthusiasts as well as compete for the best result. To encourage employees to start using Strava, the club members could also earn sporting prizes during the campaign Join the Virtual Sports Club! and the winners of the prizes were determined by a lottery draw. A total of 102 participants applied for participation in the sports club during the month, performing 1,100 sports activities. Two lucky cyclists and two runners were awarded. In the future, additional campaigns and motivational programmes are planned in order to increase the number of members of the Virtual Sports Club of Sadales tīkls AS. This type of doing sports is particularly convenient as the 2000 employees of Sadales tīkls AS are scattered across the country. The sports club enables them to meet in a virtual environment and compete with each other in an informal setting for the best results in sports. By promoting employee participation in the Virtual Sports Club of Sadales tīkls AS, the company raises awareness of the need for physical activities and their numerous benefits. The Virtual Sports Club is intended for every employee, regardless of their age or level of physical fitness. The sports club brings together employees from different regions of Latvia and inspires them to be active on a regular basis in addition to fostering the possibility to do more sports and physical activities in daily life and to take care of environmentally friendly mobility in urban and rural areas.
Detailed description (original language): Starts Sadales tīkls AS akcijai “Iesaisties virtuālajā sporta klubā!” tika dots 13.05.2019. Akcija noritēja vienu mēnesi. Virtuālais sporta klubs mēneša laikā sapulcināja 102 dalībniekus, kuri aplikāciju “Strava” lieto joprojām un katru nedēļu kopsummā veic aptuveni 900 km, braucot ar velosipēdu, ejot kājām, skrienot vai peldot u.tml. Bezmaksas aplikācijā Strava virtuālā sporta kluba dalībnieki var noteikt aktīvākos sportotājus, kā arī sacensties par labāko rezultātu. Lai stimulētu darbiniekus sākt lietot Strava, akcijas “Iesaisties virtuālajā sporta klubā!” laikā kluba dalībnieki varēja nopelnīt arī sportiskas balvas, kuru īpašnieki tika noteikti ar izlozes palīdzību. Kopumā mēneša laikā sporta klubā pieteicās 102 dalībnieki, veicot 1100 sportiskās aktivitātes. Tika apbalvoti divi laimīgie riteņbraucēji un divi skrējēji. Nākotnē plānotas papildu akcijas un motivācijas programmas, lai palielinātu Sadales tīkls AS virtuālā sporta kluba dalībnieku skaitu. Šāds sportošanas veids ir īpaši ērts, jo 2000 Sadales tīkls AS darbinieki ir izvietoti visā valsts teritorijā. Sporta klubs ļauj viņiem satikties virtuālā vidē un neformālā gaisotnē sacensties vienam ar otru labāko sportisko rezultātu sasniegšanā. Veicinot darbinieku dalību Sadales tīkls AS virtuālajā sporta klubā, uzņēmums vairo izpratni par fizisko aktivitāšu nepieciešamību un to daudzajām priekšrocībām. Virtuālais sporta klubs domāts ikvienam darbiniekam — neatkarīgi no vecuma vai fiziskās sagatavotības. Sporta klubs saved kopā darbiniekus no dažādiem Latvijas reģioniem un iedvesmo regulāri būt aktīviem, kā arī veicina iespēju ikdienā vairāk nodarboties ar sportu un fiziskām aktivitātēm un rūpēties par videi draudzīgu pārvietošanos pilsētās un lauku apvidos.

Expected Outcomes: • At least 300 members of the Virtual Sports Club by May 2020.
• At least 2,000 total kilometres travelled per week.
• Willingness of the existing sports club members to share information and sporting experience.
• Interest of other employees in the activities of the Virtual Sports Club.
