- Publicise Lisbon by bike
- Promote bicycle use as a form of sustainable mobility, non-polluting, environmentally friendly and healthy, and as a means of recreation or for commuting: home to work or home to school and consequently good for the local economy
- Draw attention to the issues of air pollution
