The measure aims to prioritise the safety of children within the road network surrounding the schools and playground areas. This will be achieved by restricting vehicular access to roads surrounding the schools and playground areas before and after school hours. In return this will enable a safer connection between the school transport and the schools, while also encouraging active transportation.
