Actions relative to the theme:
The City Hall of Timișoara will organize a week of activities dedicated to the Week of Mobility. This event aims at promoting local policies, initiatives and best practices related to sustainable urban mobility. It also aims at raising awareness about the downside of certain tendencies in urban mobility, namely the negative impact on the environment and the quality of life. In this frame of reference, all participants in city traffic are invited to take part in a European-level campaign.
A special emphasis is placed on the local sustainable urban transport policies, especially on launching long-term policies and adopting permanent measures in this respect.
