Gürsu, Bursa (Gursu) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2019, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
In order to explain to our citizens how important public transport, walking and cycling and other forms of sustainable mobility we are starting European Mobility Week by providing the transportation of the employees of the institution that has the potential to be an example of our state (Municipality, District Office, Religious Affairs, etc.) by bicycle for an entire week.
17 September
We will provide bicycles for citizens who want to use the metro line so that they can access the metro from their homes. In addition, bicycle parking areas will be created in front of metro stops and in the city center.
18 September
For the emphasize the importance of mobility to our citizens and especially to our young people, under the leadership of the pilot schools we have designated in our district, we will march with our citizens and young people on a route that will be closed to traffic using the slogan "Move, Be Healthy".
19 September
We think that for every student, the teacher is a role model. That's why during European Mobility Week, our teachers in our district will provide school transportation by bicycle with their chosen students. In this way, our esteemed students who follow their example will gain awareness of mobility with this activity.
20 September
In order to explain the importance of our traffic rules to our primary school students, we will paint a street that we have closed to traffic in accordance with transportation criteria. In the field of application training area we will ensure that our children learn by having fun with the help of traffic police and teachers.
21 September
We will create the theme "Sustainable Mobility with Nature" as part of European Mobility Week. A Bicycle Tour will be organized to Ericek Adrenaline Park, an important tourist destination of our district, in the event which will be organized in cooperation with the Cycling Federation formed by bicycle clubs in our city. At the end of the tour, participants will be offered breakfast in a social setting. In the final stage, a trekking in a magnificent natüre will be held with all participants.
22 September
To arouse interest in our district, the events to be held during European Mobility Week; A selected street from the main routes will be closed to traffic and a remarkable photo-shooting event will be held. The photograph taken will be used as the main image of the campaign, which will be created under the slogan "Gursu Winning with Increased Public Transportation". The campaign will be propagated through all announcement channels (website, billboard, poster, banner, etc.) especially social media. The main objective of this campaign is to encourage the use of public transportation and to contribute to sustainable mobility.
