Activities within the week

Koprivnica organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2006, taking into account the annual theme.

Related to this year's theme "Climate changes" are the following actions and activities:
- promotion of cycling as sustainable and environmentally friendly means of transportation
- implementation of enviromentally frinendly energy saving light bulbs in schools and institutions
- leaflet with the topic "We change our behaviour in order to prevent climate changes: Reduce! Turn of! Recycle! Walk! Cycle!

Permanent measures

Koprivnica implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Car-free day

Koprivnica carries out a Car-Free Day 2006 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
