Badajoz organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2008, taking into account the annual theme.

• Cada día: una información de movilidad de interés para los pacenses.
• Exposición urbana de bicicletas.
• Punto de chequeo de bicicletas.
• Jornada de Transporte Público Urbano de Autobuses.
• Deporte en la calle: talleres deportivos.
• Distinción y premio a abonados más fieles al transporte urbano de autobús.
• Los concejales, en autobús urbano o andando.
• Cada día, un consejo de movilidad desde el Ayuntamiento.
• Paseos guiados en el Casco Antiguo: con la ayuda de informadores turísticos.
• Peatonalización de zona de Casco Antiguo: Día 21 de Septiembre.
• Definir una o varias áreas sin coches dentro de la ciudad. Estas áreas serán cerradas al tráfico motorizado la mayoría del día. Solamente peatones, ciclistas, transporte público y vehículos "limpios" (GLP, VGN, eléctricos, etc.) serán admitidos en las zonas libres de coches (zonas restringidas). Día fijado, el 22 de Septiembre.

Badajoz carries out a Car-Free Day 2008 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.
