London Borough of Hounslow organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2008, taking into account the annual theme.

In addition to promotion of sustainable transport (non polluting) we will also be looking to promote emission free vehicles.

Car-free day Car-free day

London Borough of Hounslow carries out a Car-Free Day 2008 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Montague Road Car Park, Hounslow Town Centre, will be shut on Sunday 21st September for a cycle roadshow and sustainable transport promotional event.
