Lisboa (Lisbon) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2010, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Presentation of the new taxation scheme for parking;
Opening of the new portal Lisboa-Viva
Mobility week is at the door again, from 16th to 22nd of September, and Lisbon will be participating this year as usual.

In articulation with the government, public transportation companies, local districts, schools, NGO’s and local citizens in general, Lisbon will offer, this year a new set of measures and actions that will enhance the sustainable mobility, increase school safety, present new traffic calming areas (30Km/h), new bike lanes and Bike parking facilities.
Lisbon will also, promote other initiatives regarding bicycle use, park and ride, new ticketing on public transports, pedestrian safety, etc.

Lisboa (Lisbon) implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

New or improved bicycle facilities
Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)

Improvement of infrastructure (new foot bridges, pavements, road crossings, zebra crossings etc)
