Sandnes organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2011, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Etablering av Sykkelløftet, et unikt samarbeid mellom Næringsforeningen, Rogaland fylkeskommune, Statens vegvesen, Stavanger og Sandnes kommuner. Målsetningen er å få flere til å sykle til jobb minst en gang i uken!
Etablering av låneordning for sykler for ansatte i Sandnes kommune til bruk ved reiser i arbeidstiden.
Etablering av ladestasjoner, også for hurtigladning, for el-kjøretøy og fyllstasjon for miljø- og biogass i samarbeid med Lyse.
Innføring av strengere parkeringsbestemmelser, bl.a. med krav om ladestasjoner bedre/flere sykkelparkeringsplasser samt retningslinjer for mobilitetsplanlegging i ny kommuneplan.
Gjennomføring av bedriftsreisevaneundersøkelser for flere bedrifter for utvikling av mobilitetsplan som vertøy for endring av ansattes reiservaner og reduksjon av klimagasser jf. Framtidens byer.
Etablere handlingsplan for håndtering av lokal luftforurensning og få oppgradert måleutstyret i regionen.
