Car-free day Car-free day

Porsgrunn carries out a Car-Free Day 2011 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Porsgrunn stenger av deler av Storgata som går gjennom sentrum. Det blir lagt opp til uteaktiviteter fra handelsstand og kommunen som et samarbeid. En restaurant er involvert for å bidra til en hyggelig ramme rundt den temporære gågaten i tillegg til aktivitetene.
