Bitonto organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2012, taking into account the annual theme.

Il 21 settembre parte in via speriemtnale la chiusura al traffico veicolare dei due assi commerciali del centro urbano in collaborazione con il CCN (Centro Commerciale Naturale). L’idea è quella di portare il modello dei centri commerciali integrati (gallerie e affini) in città e, a tal fine, è necessario rendere sicuri i percorsi e liberlarli dalle auto. Saranno attrezzate delle aree per la sosta dei veicoli a motore, garantiti dei bus navetta che faranno spola con il centro urbano. Per quanto riguarda la mobilità ciclistica, sarà offerto un servizio di bike sharing con biciclette usate o ricavate da bici dismesse.
