Santa Lucía de Tirajana organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2013, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
On the occasion of the celebration of the European Mobility Week, will be a range of activities related to the theme of this year: "Air in Motion." That will be detailed in the following sections.

Permanent measures Permanent measures

Santa Lucía de Tirajana implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

New or improved bicycle facilities
Improvement of bicycle network (creation of new lanes, extension, renovation, signposting etc)

Car-free day Car-free day

Santa Lucía de Tirajana carries out a Car-Free Day 2013 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
1.- Avenida de Canarias" pedestrian area, creating new rest areas and other children's entertainment.
2.- Creating a network of park and ride, properly marked (3,500 seats).
3.- Proper signage to new paths Ciclovías.
