As presented in the detailed program of events, all the actions that are organized for this year's European Mobility Week (EMW) in Larnaka are completely compatible with this year's theme.
Streets are given back to the people for them to enjoy and choose their means of transport.

Larnaka (Λάρνακα) implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Car-free day Car-free day

Larnaka (Λάρνακα) carries out a Car-Free Day 2014 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
This year, European Mobility Week will be celebrated all over Larnaka and streets will be closed to road traffic not only in the central business district but in the region as well.
