Jyväskylä organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2016, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
Viikon aikana mm. luento sähköpyöräilystä, liikkumistapahtuma yliopistolla, polkupyöräilyyn liittyvää toimintaa jne. Koululaisten joukkoliikenneopetuksen vierailut aloitetaan ja niitä laajennetaan uuteen kuntaan

Tapahtumia järjestetään yhteistyössä myös muiden toimijoiden kanssa liittyen mukaan heidän tapahtumiinsa.

Kaupungin suuri syyskuun lopun teema Valon kaupunki liitetään yhden tapahtuman osalta näkyvämmin osaksi Liikkujan viikkoa, Tourujoen Yö 24.9. kulkee teemalla Valo liikkeessä. Tapahtumakokonaisuuden yhteydessä neuvottelussa ilmainen joukkoliikenne.

Suunnitelmissa lisäksi biokaasuun liittyvä tapahtuma tukemaan viikon teemaa.
