Grodzisk Mazowiecki organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2017, taking into account the annual theme.

All week
- 16-22/09/2017: the time for renting a Grodzisk Mazowiecki public bike free of charge will be increased from 20 minutes (the regular free of charge period) to 60 minutes (during the European Mobility Week)
- on 24/09/2017: an Energy Day will be organized, including a conference on Energy Efficiency for local governments and the demonstration of ecological vehicles (e-bikes, cargo bikes, e-car)

- improvement of cycling infrastructure: new cycling path along the Nadarzyńska Street will be presented to the public
- improvement of infrastructure: the sidewalks along the Bartniaka Streek have been renovated, the street itself has new traffic calming measures
- extension of creation of new greenways: a wholly new system of pedestrian paths around the Stawy Walczewskiego recreational park has been created
- speed reduction programmes in zones near schools: an elevated crossing space has been created next to a kindergarten in the Kopernika Street

Car-free day Car-free day

Grodzisk Mazowiecki carries out a Car-Free Day 2017 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

- on September 22nd 2017 in Grodzisk Mazowiecki the public bus system will be available to the citizens free of charge
