Activities within the week

Pafos organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2017, taking into account the annual theme.

1. Check your bike station: for one day the Bicycle club of Pafos will check your bike for free and help you fix minor issues on the spot. During that day, a guide for eco-driving will be handed out to car drivers.
2. Eco-driving guide: a guide with tips on how to drive and maintain your car for a more environmentally friendly use of your vehicle.
3. Promotion of a telephone number for the citizens to report the pavements and roads that need to be repaired in order to have a more accessible road network and pavements for the pedestrians.
4. Stricter fines by the Municipal Police (traffic) for drivers that park on pavements or in disabled parking spaces without a disabled card.
5. Dedicated article and interviews of citizens who use sustainable transportation (bicycle, walking, carpool, bus) for their daily activities.
