Car-free day Car-free day

Gherla carries out a Car-Free Day 2018 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
Gherla Townhall organize a bike tour on 22 September.
4 streets, Liviu Rebreanu – Armeneasca – Avram Iancu – Victoriei will be restricted for the traffic.
Moreover, Bike Academy Association will organise in colaboration with the local authorities a Festival called ,, Verde la Armenopolis,,. This involves a bike chic parade, a bike tour in the city, a bike excursion to the forest, electrical car tests, eBike testing and chilling after the bike tours at the forest, located near the town.
