Tirane (Tirana) organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2019, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
During the EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK 2019, the Municipality of Tirana has planned activities all week, based on the 2019’s theme 'Safe Walking and Cycling'. On 16 September, at 18.00 at ''Reja'', the meeting will focus on the safety of pedestrians and cyclists, guiding and advising them on the rules of pedestrian and bicycle traffic.

The activities will also promote:
1. The map of public transport in Tirana
2. The map of bike lanes in Tirana
3. Cyclist ''street codes'' and rules
17 September
“Bike Fair” at ‘’Skanderbeg’’ square, from 09.00 - 13.00.
18 September
Outdoor activities organized at the Artificial Lake park.
19 September
''Bike to Work'' initiative will be launched at the Municipal Council of Tirana at 11.00 AM.
20 September
''Bike race'' at ''Dëshmorët e Kombit'' boulevard, at 10.30.
21 September
Tourist visit at Petrela. Departure at 09.30 with public transport.
22 September
Activities will culminate on 22 September with 'Car-Free Day', restricting the traffic on the streets of the city, turning them in recreational space for pedestrians and bike users.
