- “Work mobility challenge”
Several companies such as RPK, Automach, Caype will implement different sustainable mobility solutions to access their headquarters. Employees will tell their experiences in website of the Council of Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Álava Emprende will present some local entrepreneurial experiences around sustainable mobility to show that sustainable mobility also generates wealth and employment.

Sustainable mobility helps mitigate climate change. During this week, students from Egibide School will work in an intergenerational workshop with older people. They will discuss about how our movements in the city influence global change. On Friday they will share their work with the entire city in a rally to claim more sustainable mobility in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

The public space of Vitoria-Gasteiz has undergone a deep change in the last 10 years of the Sustainable Mobility Plan. We will walk through some of these changes to know their evolution and future changes.

Central action of the European Week of Sustainable Mobility in a space that will refurbished. In liberates space, this day it will be shown the benefits of gaining espace till now dedicated to cars. It will be created:
-Informative space with the proposal to transform this area.
-The library of Aldabe Civic Center goes out to the street
-The city for everyone. A workshop to know the difficulties of moving around the city
-Workshop to learn to ride a bicycle safely
-The commerce of the area will go out to the street
-Children's workshop to build plates on sustainable mobility
-DJ zone

Vitoria-Gasteiz implements one or more new permanent measure(s), which contribute(s) to modal transfer from private car to environmentally sound means of transport.

Car-free day Car-free day

Vitoria-Gasteiz carries out a Car-Free Day 2019 and closes off one or more streets to traffic, and opens it to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

Zone opened to residents on Car-Free Day:
San Francisco Street. In liberated space will be created a exhibition area to explain planned refurbishment works and different areas to meet, play, read and to listen music.
