Murcia organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2022, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
1.- ROUND TABLE chaired by the councilor for sustainable mobility and with the presence of bicycle associations, transport companies and technicians to discuss "the future of mobility in Murcia". The new mobility measures that are going to be implemented in Murcia and that will imply an important modal change towards a more sustainable mobility (bus and bike lanes, improvement of collective transport, modernization of traffic,...) will be addressed and debated.
2.- PARKING DAY: board games, km x euros, self-managed workshop, activities
3.- PEDESTRIAN ROUTES. History of our squares. A walk through the most emblematic squares of Murcia to learn the reason for its name, its history, evolution and most emblematic buildings.
17 September
1.- PEDESTRIAN ROUTES. Visit to the Contraparada interpretation center, tour of the riparian forest and visit to the treatment plant.
2.- I APARCAMURCIA BASKETBALL TORUNAMENT 3×3. The Infante Sports Association and Aparcamurcia, the mobility brand of the Murcia City Council, present the 1st Aparcamurcia 3×3 Basketball Tournament at the Aparcamurcia Atocha park and ride
3.- 12 HOURS BY BIKE. It circulates around the city with checkpoints and a gift for the participants
4- WORKSHOP "LEARN TO RIDE A BICYCLE" and subsequent discussion on sustainable mobility and the new bike lane projects in Murcia. Beniaján
5.- POINT OF ADVICE ON REPAIR AND TUNE-UP THE BICYCLES. Beniaján
6.- NIGHT BICYCLE ROUTE by The Place of Don Juan. The districts of El Palmar, Era Alta, Aljucer, Rincón de Seca, among others, will be visited, with a snack halfway through the route (small gastronomic tasting).

1.- SUPPORT AND INFORMATION POINT OF THE MUNICIPAL OFFICE OF THE BICYCLE OF THE MURCIA CITY COUNCIL IN THE XXV CYCLING MARCH OF THE REINA SOFÍA HOSPITAL. Portable toilets, drinks for participants upon arrival, information on activities organized by the Murcia City Council in relation to sustainable mobility
2.- PEDESTRIAN ROUTES. Tour of the Visitor Center of La Luz, that of San Antonio el Pobre, and the monastery of Santa Catalina del Monte.
3.- WORKSHOP "LEARN TO RIDE A BICYCLE" and subsequent discussion on sustainable mobility and the new bike lane projects in Murcia. Espinardo

5.- ELECTRIC VEHICLE MAINTENANCE WORKSHOP
6.- MOBILITY CIRCUIT. Circuit to experience the difficulty of mobility of the blind
7.- BICYCLE ROUTE THROUGH THE ORCHARD “LAND OF AZARBES”. Route of about 15 kilometers through the azarbes, the large water receiving ditches for its return to the Segura river. The water from the beginning of its journey in the Contraparada is watering and giving life to the entire orchard around Murcia.
