Bistrita organises activities during EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK 2022, taking into account the annual theme.

16 September
● Information desk on the event at the City Hall entrance;
● ”Exchange the PET with the ticket”. The campaign encourages the use of public transport and the promotion of waste collection and recycling. In exchange for 5 pieces of waste: PETs, bottles or metal cans, participants benefit from bus tickets valid on any public transport line;
● Launching of the European campaign ”Traffic Snake Game”, with the participation of 7 primary schools and 1200 students.
17 September
● ”Scout on the bicycle” - Action to encourage the use of bicycle as mean of transport in the city, through a tour of the main tourist attractions on bicycles; The activity is organised by the National Organization of Romanian Scouts - within the project "THINK GREEN, LIVE GREEN", co-financed from the local budget of Bistriţa Municipality in 2022;
●TREASURE HUNT - Action to promote walking in the historic city center. The activity is organised by the National Organization of Romanian Scouts - within the project "THINK GREEN, LIVE GREEN", co-financed from the local budget of Bistriţa Municipality in 2022;
22 September
● Promotion of local transport and sustainable mobility projects: GREEN LINE (electric bus), BIKE-SHARING, Cycling tracks
● Offering 3 bikes to citizens willing to ride in the city and its surroundings.
● "I pedal for a green city - #MUST PEDAL". - Action to encourage the use of bicycle as a mean of transport in the city and its surroundings, promoted by the cycling enthusiasts' club "Coffee Tree", within the project "I pedal for a green city - #MUST PEDAL" co-financed from the local budget of Bistriţa Municipality in 2022.
