Detailed description (English): This publication belongs to the first number of a collectible made up of three booklets dealing with various environmental issues of interest to the workplace, and which are part of an action by UGT Castilla y León union within the framework of the "Social Dialogue Agreement to promote a transition fair in the face of climate change (2018-2020) ". Its content includes seven chapters:
1. The need for sustainable mobility. (The current mobility model is analysed as a source of conflicts).
2. Safer, more efficient, healthy and equitable mobility to work. (It is rediscovered that travelling in a sustainable and safe way to the workplace should be considered a right of working people).
3. The environmental impact of the current mobility model (waste of energy, air and noise pollution, appropriation of space and modification of the climate).
4. The socio-labor impact of the current mobility model (accidents, loss of time, sedentary lifestyle, socio-labor exclusion and socio-economic costs).
5. Another way to get to work is possible. Key elements.
6. Union tools to improve mobility at work.
7. The importance of a just transition towards sustainable mobility.
For its physical and virtual dissemination (in pdf format), an attempt will be made to take advantage of the events organized by various municipalities of Castilla y León for European Mobility Week, and the social networks of the union, as well as several virtual conferences on climate change and sustainable mobility at work that we are organizing for the months of September and October.
Detailed description (original language): Esta publicación pertenece al primer número de un coleccionable formado por tres cuadernillos que tratan diversos temas medioambientales de interés para el ámbito laboral, y que forman parte de una acción de UGT Castilla y León en el marco del "Acuerdo del Diálogo Social para promover una transición justa frente al cambio climático (2018-2020)". Su contenido incluye siete capítulos:
1. La necesidad de una movilidad sostenible. (Se analiza el actual modelo de movilidad como fuente de conflictos).
2. Una movilidad al trabajo más segura, eficiente, saludable y equitativa. (Se redescubre que desplazarse de modo sostenible y seguro hasta el lugar de trabajo debe ser considerado un derecho de las personas trabajadoras).
3. El impacto medioambiental del actual modelo de movilidad (despilfarro de energía, contaminación atmosférica y acústica, apropiación del espacio y modificación del clima).
4. El impacto socio-laboral del actual modelo de movilidad (accidentalidad, pérdida de tiempo, sedentarismo, exclusión socio-laboral y costes socio-económicos).
5. Otro modo de ir al trabajo es posible. Elementos clave.
6. Herramientas sindicales para mejorar la movilidad en el trabajo
7. La importancia de una transición justa hacia la movilidad sostenible.
Para su difusión física y virtual (en formato pdf) se intentará aprovechar los eventos organizados por diversos ayuntamientos de Castilla y León de cara a la Semana Europea de la Movilidad, y las redes sociales propias del sindicato, así como varias jornadas virtuales sobre cambio climático y movilidad sostenible en el trabajo que estamo

Objectives: Raise awareness and sensitize about the challenge that arises from the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from one of the aspects of our daily life: mobility, and more specifically, mobility to work. In this sense, the responsibility to take action on the matter does not lie only with the administrations or companies, but also with those of us who have the responsibility to represent and defend the labour rights of workers.
