Detailed description (English): The City of Terrassa, in Spain, in collaboration with the non-profit organization BiciTerrassaClub, on Sunday 23 of September organised a popular ride as part of the EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK actions. Around 500 people attended the meeting in the Plaça Nova and ride 8km around the city.
Before leaving the place, 350 of the participants came togather to represent the shape of bicycle and the wheels rolled over the town square, claiming the efficiency and effectiveness of this vehicle as a mode of transport in the city .
The event was aimed at promoting two wheels as a way of getting around that is both healthy and helps reduce pollution in the city, trying to reduce emissions from motor vehicles.
