Workshop – Repairing old Bicycles
During EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK the EU Information Network will organise in Tirana, Vlora and Shkodra workshops on repairing old bicycles, an initiative aiming at engaging Albanian citizens on making smarter mobility choices.
On 22 September, on the occasion of the Car-Free Day, EU Information Centres in Tirana, Shkodra and Vlora will set up the EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK stands and organise live sessions on repairing old bikes at the Pedonale areas of the respective cities.
Specialists of the field will repair and offer training for bike users. Through its social media network EUIN will invite classic and vintage bike owners at EUROPEAN MOBILITY WEEK stands. Photos will be taken and posted on EUIN social media network aiming at promoting healthy lifestyle.
The activity will involve citizens using smart and sustainable modes of transport leaving their car home and act responsibly. We aim at modifying Albanians mobility habits, gaining more in terms of health and use of time while biking.
