Detailed description (English): Representatives of the Youth Committee of the Union of Transport Trade Unions in Bulgaria took part in a bike ride in Sofia on the occasion of tWorld Car Free Day. This is one of the final events within the European Mobility Week 2021. It was organized by Sofia Municipality and the Center for Urban Mobility. The hike tour started from Knyaz Alexander I Square and ended at the lake in Druzhba city district.
The event was attended by a number of representatives of the FTTUB Youth Committee from the Sofia's urban public transport companies, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Bulgaria. All of them congratulated Sofia Municipality and reported on the expansion of the bike lanes in the city. Young people called on all citizens who can exchange their cars for bikes, to do it and use more environmentally friendly transport in their daily lives.
Detailed description (original language): Представители на Младежкия комитет на Съюза на транспортните синдикати в България взеха участие във велопоход в град София по повод Световния ден без автомобили. Това е едно от заключителните събития в рамките на европейската седмица на мобилността 2021 г., което беше организирано от Столична община и Център за градска мобилност. Походът стартира от пл. Княз Александър I до езерето в квартал Дружба.
В събитието взеха участие десетки представители на Младежкия комитет на СТСБ от столичните предприятия и посланика на кралство Дания в България. Всички те поздравиха Столична община и отчетоха разширяването на велоалеите в града. Младежите призоваха всеки гражданин, който може да остави автомобила си, да го направи и да използва по-екологичен транспорт в ежедневието си.
