Detailed description (English): Mobility needs space, but cars do this a very inefficient way. Parking occupies public space but does not contribute to mobility. Parking limits the space needed for more sustainable ways of transport like walking or cycling. A tree replacing a parked car would contribute to a better local climate. Social activities instead of parked cars would strengthen social competence, a competence needed to make shared use successful and city life better.
To motivate a change. A public experience of better usage is given.
The PARK(ing) Day (c) is a format for doing so. We extend this from one event on Friday to a set of actions on Saturday. At four places, people will perform streets alive.
The expectation range from information about car sharing, resource efficiency of bikes, the usage of public space for human, social needs of coming together.
