Detailed description (English): CAP Terrassa Nord, along with CST commission´s, wants to promote healthy habits within the community. For this reason, this year we will join the European Mobility Week.
There will be a conference in “Distrito 6” from Terrassa library aimed at the importance of exercising regularly to maintain and improve our health, physical activity such as “fantastic medicine”, exposing the possibilities offered by the city through their health advocates: “healthy routes”, Vallparadis Park, cycling routes, etc, within the city as well as the city’s surrounding area, reinforcing habits for a sustainable city.
Subsequently there will be a heart healthy walk through the different routes specifically designed for physical activity, during which the concepts explained in the conference will be reinforced.
Detailed description (original language): EL CAP Terrassa Nord, desde la Comisión de Salud Comunitaria del Consorcio Sanitario de Terrassa, quiere promover los hábitos saludables entre la población, englobando el mantenimiento de un entorno saludable, por este motivo este año nos adherimos a la SEMANA EUROPEA DE LA MOBILIDAD.
Se realizara una conferencia en la Biblioteca del distrito 6 de Terrassa sobre la importancia de la práctica de ejercicio físico para mantener y mejorar nuestra salud, la actividad física vista como la “medicina fantástica”, dando a conocer las posibilidades que nos ofrece la ciudad mediante sus activos en salud como: “rutas saludables”, Parque de Vallparadis, rutas en bici, etc., tanto en la ciudad como en el entorno de la misma, para reforzar los hábitos que favorezcan tener una ciudad más sostenible.
Posteriormente se realizará una caminata cardiosaludable por las diferentes rutas que están diseñadas y pensadas para la práctica de ejercicio físico saludable, durante la misma se le irán reforzando los conceptos explicados en la conferencia.

Objectives: Prevention and health promotion of the community is one of the fundamental grounds of Primary Care. For this reason, this year, our proposal has these objectives:
1. Promotion of a sustainable behaviour regarding the use of private vehicles and providing alternatives that favour physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.
2. Raising awareness about the impact of transport on the air quality and how to improve it.
3. Promotion of walking as a means of sustainable mobility in town.
4. Providing civic interaction between the community within the city and their city surrounding area, educating about the cultural and environmental patrimony, generating a rewarding experience that could be extrapolated to the family environment.
5. Proposal and highlight of the search of new forms of mobility, transitioning from the excess use of private vehicles to a more sustainable, safe and healthy transport.
