Detailed description (English): ITS4Climate Congress 2019 aims to identify and highlight ITS solutions that have been developed, tested and deployed in the field, exploring how they can most effectively help reduce GHG emissions. The Congress is organized with the support of the Region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the French Ministry of Transport, Slocat, ATEC- ITS France and PPMC (Paris Process for Mobility and Transport) and Cerema.

Leading up to the event, expert groups will prepare Briefing Papers on 6 topics:
• Meeting climate goals: measuring and evaluating GHG emissions
• Low(er)-carbon technologies and solutions
• Improving network, mode and system efficiency
• Decarbonising freight and logistics management
• Mobility (and Accessibility) as a Service for climate (MaaS4C)
• Implementation challenges, enablers and barriers
Following the Congress, an ITS4Climate Green Book will be compiled, comprising a summary of the six papers as validated and enhanced through conference workshops, including use cases, best practice, guidelines for deployment…
