Detailed description (English): The aim of the event was to facilitate the improvement of quality of life and environment of the people living in Aglona region, develop and promote social activity within the community as well as healthy lifestyle philosophy in the region. Furthermore, we wanted to encourage useful, interesting and healthy leisure activities that would also strengthen the family, and to facilitate compliance with road traffic regulations and encourage obtaining a bicycle-driving license. An important aspect of the event was to promote Aglona as a bicycle-friendly and attractive environment, thus attracting people to sports and tourism activities. Moreover, we wanted this sports event promoting Aglona region to become an annual and traditional happening, which would become one of the things associated with the name of Aglona.

Overall, around 200 participants took part in sports activities and around 30 volunteers helped out by making the necessary preparation for the race and acting as judges at the route monitoring spots. The total number of guests, including participants in the race, supporters, visitors, tourists and other interested parties, reached around 500.
