Detailed description (English): On September 19, 2020 (Saturday), free line 101 will be launched, operating on the route Gdańsk - Sopot - Gdynia. This line is jointly organized by MZKZG, ZTM in Gdańsk and ZKM in Gdynia.
Launched once a year, the route No. 101 refers to the historic line with this number, which operated (with a short break and in some years marked as "A") on the route Gdańsk - Gdynia from the end of World War II to the beginning of the nineties. Until the start of the electric railway in the 1950s, route 101 was the main communication backbone of the developing Tri-City.

Detailed description (original language): Dnia 19 września 2020 r. (sobota) uruchomiona zostanie bezpłatna linia nr 101, funkcjonująca na trasie Gdańsk Śródmieście SKM – Sopot – Gdynia Dworzec Gł. PKP. Linia ta jest wspólnie organizowana przez MZKZG, ZTM w Gdańsku oraz ZKM w Gdyni. Obsługę zapewnią pojazdy Gdańskich Autobusów i Tramwajów oraz Przedsiębiorstwa Komunikacji Miejskiej w Gdyni.
Uruchamiana raz w roku linia nr 101 nawiązuje do historycznej linii o tym numerze, która funkcjonowała (z krótką przerwą i w niektórych latach oznaczana jako ,,A”) na trasie Gdańsk – Gdynia od zakończenia II wojny światowej do początku lat dziewięćdziesiątych. Do czasu uruchomienia kolei elektrycznej w latach 50., linia 101 stanowiła główny ,,kręgosłup” komunikacyjny rozwijającego się Trójmiasta.
