Detailed description (English): Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM), National association of towns and municipalities in Serbia, every year invites Mayors of all Serbian municipalities to walk to work on September 22.
As National coordinator of EMW in Serbia, this year, we would like to expand this initative to employees of SCTM Secretariat.
SCTM management invited all the employees to walk to work on Wednesday, 22th of September. Since majority of employees live in Belgrade, three gathering points are offered in front of local Belgrade municipalities. From this points, SCTM employees will walk or bike to SCTM premises, in Makedonska 22.
In front of the building, there will be a check point, where employees will be offered a healthy snack. We will summarize the activities that took place across Serbian municipalities during European Mobility Week and talk about sustainable solutions in transport in Belgrade.
Target group(s): Employees of Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (about 70 persons) and employees of Dom Omladine (Belgrade Youth Center - about 30 persons)
Objectives: To raise awareness among SCTM employees on sustainable mobility solutions and healthy choices while performing work duties. To contribute to overall efforts that SCTM as national coordinator of EMW in Serbia puts in promotion of sustainable urban mobility.
