Detailed description (English): 8th year - Bike to work (DPNB) is a national campaign, the main goal of which is to support the development of non-motorized, especially bicycle transport in cities, call on local governments in Slovakia to create quality conditions for ecological modes of transport in the city, motivate employers to build appropriate conditions for employees who go to work by bicycle and to motivate employees to make more use of this form of alternative transport when travelling to work on a daily basis.
A total of 91 local governments registered for the campaign (DPNB 2021), in which 11,358 participants were subsequently registered, who were associated in 3,448 teams from 1,271 companies. The registered participants drove a total of 1,715,385.69 kilometers on a bicycle, which is 151.03 km per participant. and thus saved a total of more than 513 tons of CO2 compared to travelling by car.
Detailed description (original language): 8. ročník - Do práce na bicykli (DPNB) je národná kampaň, ktorej hlavným cieľom je podporiť rozvoj nemotorovej, predovšetkým cyklistickej dopravy v mestách, vyzvať samosprávy na Slovensku, aby vytvárali kvalitné podmienky pre ekologické druhy dopravy v meste, motivovať zamestnávateľov, aby budovali vo svojich sídlach vhodné podmienky pre zamestnancov, ktorí dochádzajú do práce na bicykli a motivovať zamestnancov, aby viac používali túto formu alternatívnej dopravy pri každodennom cestovaní do práce.
Do kampane (DPNB 2021) sa zaregistrovalo spolu: 91 samospráv, v ktorých sa následne spolu zaregistrovalo 11 358 účastníkov, ktorí boli združení v 3 448 tímoch z 1 271 spoločností. Registrovaní účastníci spolu najazdili 1 715 385,69 kilometrov na bicykli, čo je v prepočte na jedného účastníka 151,03 km. a tým ušetrili oproti ceste autom spolu viac ako 513 ton CO2.
