Detailed description (English): Managers are invited to build one team or more (8 members maximum).
Each team chooses among 5 low-emission modes of transport (walking, cycling, public transport, car-pooling, combined modes).
The challenge is to achieve the biggest number of kilometers in the chosen category.
Rewards will be granted to the winning team for each category and the manager.
Target group(s): Employees, especially managers.
Objectives: The CSR department aims to promote sustainable mobility among employees as one of the main commitment of the company's environmental policy as far as greenhouse gas emissions reduction is concerned.
People's movings represent more than 40% of our greenhouse gas emissions, the biggest part of which comes from employees' travelling from home to their workplace.
Expected Outcomes: With our 10 000 employees and around 1100 managers the question of low-emission mobility is crucial if we want to improve our carbon footprint. The CSR department looks forward to fostering the shift towards alternative mobility by encouraging people's to change their habits and inducing voluntary transport behaviour changes.
