Detailed description (English): Barrhead Town Centre has a host of wonderful businesses and we are encouraging people to check out our street map and discover things they never knew were there.
There are a range of FREE activities including;
Landtrain and Rickshaws running all day around the town centre.
Street entertainment including stilt walkers, hula hoop lady and many more.
Dr Bike: 2 mechanics offering free 20 point checks, maintenance and parts.
Guided heritage tours around the blue plaques in the town centre
Door Open Day at Voluntary Action including cafe, arts and crafts and information.
Free community transport to the town centre via the community transport bus.
Target group(s): Residents in and near Barrhead
Objectives: To raise awareness of Barrhead BID and improve perceptions of the town centre
